I have 30+ years’ experience working with restaurant chefs, owners, and PR firms to get the images that promote restaurants well.

When restaurants need photos for website use, PR images, cookbooks, and catering brochures, phone photos just won’t cut it. Time for professional photography and the gear that can get you the high resolution images you need.

I bring these skills and more to the table for your project:

  • Creativity
You have the dish to shoot, but how? Where? I love location work and the creative process of placing your dish in a great environment within your restaurant.

  • Food styling
Food is “live” and often has a short visual peak. Having done some food styling and worked alongside stylists for years, I’m comfortable with basic food styling and directing the shoot — we’ll sauce last minute and keep the salad dressing light so greens don’t collapse. Together we’ll capture the dish at its best.

  • On location
I’m extremely comfortable in new environments that aren’t a predictable studio. Successful restaurant photography requires flexibility, creative thinking, and the ability to blend available light with supplemental lighting gear as necessary.

  • Not just food
Shooting your restaurant can mean plated dishes and drinks, but also chef portraits and room interiors.
